Cats are typically and naturally clean animals and they prefer to use of their litter box for elimination. However, sometimes they may start cat peeing in front of the litter box, which can be frustrating and unsanitary for pet owners. And they also become worried about for cat as to why their cat is doing this. Nothing to worry about. Cats often do this for some reason. Here we will talk about the absolute why they do this and what is their solution.

Urinary tract infections, kidney disease, and diabetes can all cause cats to urinate more frequently and outside the litter box. is common knowledge that cats are notorious for hiding their illnesses. If you see they urinate outside of the litter box. So don’t delay in understanding about that they may have a problem. In this case, take your cat to the vet for a checkup

Litter Box Issues:

Cats can be picky about their litter box preferences. They may avoid using a litter box because if that is too small, dirty, or has an unpleasant smell. If they are in such a place where your cat doesn’t like that, or the type of litter box may not suit of your cat’s and therefore they don’t prefer. Some cats are very sensitive to their environment, so it’s very important to make sure that the litter box is clean, in a quiet place and private location and also that the litter box is soft and unscented.

Stress:

Stress can also be a major cause of cats urinating outside the litter box. As we know cats are sensitive creatures and can easily get stressed or anxious.If a cat is overwhelmed by someone. Or if she feels threatened, she will avoid using the litter box. is often seen, A major reason of cats become stressed is a change in routine. Like having a new pet or family member in the house. Or something as simple as a dirty litter box can be included. If you think your cat is stressed. Try and remove it if possible.

Behavioral Problems Territory Marking:

Cats are territorial animals and may mark their territory by peeing outside the litter box. It can also be a habit of theirs when they do it or due to any number of factors. This behavior is more common in male cats because they may also mark their territory in response to outside stimuli. If there is a female cat in the neighborhood or in the presence of other cats, they act like this. especially when  if they are not neutered
